I’m a devout lover of fountain pens. I love writing with the smooth nibs, playing with all the ink colors, and collecting neat writing instruments.

The first one I’m sharing with you all is the Relic Pens with meteorite pieces in the finial (the end cap you see there). I bought it at the Baltimore Fountain Pen Show this past March.

The pen is a standard resin body except it has cut out stars and sparkling blue flashes when the light hits it right. And of course, the finial with bits of space rock in it. Space rocks! So I kind of had to have it. Writing with a great pen makes me want to write, and this pen is a great, great looking pen.

I have it in a fine nib, which is great for most writing as long as I’m not in the fanciest of moods (those require fancy nib grinds, of course). When I need to pause to think, I peer into the blue shimmers between the stars, and I can find ideas there.

Currently inked with Colorverse’s Dirty Red, because I like a dark red ink if I’m using red at all.
